What customers say?

“ We visit the Birsay Bay Tearooms each time we holiday in Orkney. The scones and coffee are well worth traveling over 10,500 miles (16,900km) for All staff have been happy, courteous and well presented, in particular their staff member Paula, has always been welcoming, willing to talk to us about local issues, nothing is too much trouble. The food is well prepared and presented. I love the tea cups used for lighting. The views across the bay to the Brough are amazing. They provide binoculars at almost all tables. You can watch the rabbits and sea birds from your table. There are indoor toilets and it is a wheelchair accessible cafe. Plenty of car parking available (not sealed). NB: check opening times as these vary through the seasons; book a table if possible; email is available however not an immediate response. Table occupancy is for 90mins due to popularity. Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely team and cafe. ”

“ Nice cafe serving a wide range of food and drinks. It can get very busy during lunchtime so worth arriving a little earlier or later if you don’t want to wait for a table. Staff were all friendly and helpful. ”
